Hi, I’m SARA RAYMENT.

I’m an award-winning lawyer. I believe law should be simple and practical.

With over 16 years of experience as a disputes lawyer focusing on complex international disputes, I bring a wealth of experience and strategic guidance to family and business disputes. I have a global reputation for blending empathy and legal simplicity with the latest technology to produce results.

I have a deep understanding of the complex situation separating couples face. From financial challenges to transitional issues, the process is deeply personal. I’m committed to helping my clients make good decisions, with clear advice and support.

I worked on Australia’s first Hague application by a same sex parent for the return of a child abducted internationally, to advising on international law and surrogacy in the case of an Australian child with a disability abandoned with the surrogate.

Many family law disputes also involve businesses. I’ve advised businesses such as HSBC, Airbnb, Glencore, L’Oreal and bring a wealth of experience to understanding how businesses are structured and locating and protecting assets.

Outside of work, I devote my time to my family and my labradoodle exploring beaches and riding bikes. I love reading a good book when I can find the time.
